Whether it’s working as a creative collaborator with The Lumineers, a behind-the-scenes (BTS) photographer for motion pictures, or a portrait photographer for leading Portland creatives from Nike, Wieden+Kennedy, and more—I’ve always aimed to capture a naturalistic way of being through my photographs.

Being formally trained in Applied Visual Arts (BFA) and also working in Oregon’s film industry heavily influences my photographs by utilizing cinematic and fine-art elements to invoke a more evocative image. I utilize both digital and film systems—specifically medium format film—to produce photos that have been showcased in gallery and commercial settings. At the end of the day, I strive to make unique photographs to invite the viewer to look a little closer.
